Brand new packing line

In order to improve our production lines of meat and MSM, and to raise our standards in order to offer you better products, we have invested in a new automatic packing line. 

With the former process, the raw meats filled polyethylene bags that were located by hands in moulds to be deep frozen. With this new line, the blocks of meats and MSM will be automatically protected by welded green or blue polyethylene foil, avoiding any microbiological contamination and presence of foreign bodies. This new bags will be easier to remove before integrating our products in your process. Thawing will also be easier has the film will be as strong as before (60 microns).

 

The dimensions of the blocks, the weight and the size of the pallets remain the same. The only change is the colour code that we had (blue for chicken, green for turkey and red for duck) that disappear. The following colour will show the type of products and the article reference will be printed on each block to be easily identified :

  • Blue for standard MSM
  • Green for meat preparations and premium MSM

You will find enclosed the specifications of the packaging used and the confirmation that they are suitable for contact with food.

We are also proud to inform you that 100% of the Favid staff concerned by this automatization will be trained to become either pilot of production lines and/or production staff.
